GAMBIA PRESIDENT INSPECT FERRY PROJECT
According to report, the visit was a surprised one as he was accompanied by government officials and technical experts. Reports also indicated that he wanted to observe the ongoing efforts being made to rectify the situation as concern has been raised among Gambians.
During the visit, he engaged with the engineers and staff of The Gambia Ports Authority, by expressing his concern for the safety of Gambians and the importance of quickly resolving the matter.
Furthermore, he also reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of essential transportation services, emphasizing the need for accountability and efficiency in public service delivery.
The efforts to resolved and restore normalcy to ferry operations continues but his surprised visit will surly help boost morals among the engineers as well as citizens that he has one eye on the situation on ground.
